What is NMN*？*nicotinamide mononucleotide
The official name is "nicotinamide mono nucleotide".
It is a kind of vitamin B3 (niacin) and it has a function to activate "sirtuin gene" which is a gene related to "longevity". It is known as Sirtuin genes prevent and control cellular aging and prolong life span.
It was discovered by Professor Shinichiro Imai at University of Washington in 2011, and is expected as 'a dream component that prevents the decay of body and organs of aging'. It is being studied at research institutions such as University of Washington and Keio University.
